In the heady days of 1998, when the Y2K Bug scare was making us question everything from our favorite boy bands to the reliability of our pagers, GNN International emerged onto the scene in India as a small trading and exporting company with a vision of exporting exquisite handicrafts in the US and European markets. As the journey unfolded, a realization dawned – the untapped potential of finished leather goods. Thus, a shift occurred, and GNN International ventured into exporting fine leather goods to wholesalers and corporate clients around the world.
By 2002, the year of pivotal transformations, the company established its own leather goods production hub in the vibrant city of Kolkata. Simultaneously, a Sales Office sprouted in the United States, marking a strategic move to fortify connections across continents.
The grand vision unfolded with a strategic move up the supply chain. GNN International aimed to wield control over every aspect of manufacturing, fostering increased efficiency and unwavering consistency in the quality of their products. The decision to specialize in custom leather goods manufacturing, particularly for corporate clients, proved to be a stroke of genius. This focused approach swiftly carved a niche for GNN International, propelling rapid business growth.
Fast forward to 2010, and a new chapter began with the start of the Kanpur plant. Here, GNN International embarked on the creation of world-class equestrian leather goods and fine leather pet products, delighting customers worldwide. This facility soon expanded its repertoire to include the meticulous craftsmanship of leather bags and accessories, adding another layer to the legacy of GNN International’s unparalleled its leather goods manufacturing and exporting journey.
